I got really excited when I started planning the Destress Quest because I knew that come June… I would need it. I’ve been majorly buggin’ the past month or so for a variety of stressful reasons that are just part of life. It seems this time of year is especially hectic for many of us out there. I’m right there with you! And instead of using all the tools in my toolkit to help alleviate and work through the stress, I’ve only been choosing a few here and there. Well, no more, I say! I’m ready to do myself good, show myself the respect I deserve, and to… well, to destress. destresslogosquare

Just like Hannah has started her SLEEP QUEST as a way to keep herself accountable for taking care of herself, working on the Destress Quest has been an awesome excuse for me to sit down and create actionable steps anyone can take to bolster their health. Because it’s SO EASY for life to get away from us. In a culture of FOMO, #treatyoself, YOLO, and all the cool stuff happening in real life and on social media these days, especially as the temps outside get warmer and those patios with dogs are all inviting and stuff, it seems like the weeks are just whipping by, and the excitement of keeping up with it all means self-care gets lost in the shuffle. Or at least, that’s what I’ve been feeling!

Shifting the focus back to ourselves is a big deal, and at times a scary commitment. Don’t fret, because with the Destress Quest we’ve taken that into consideration and it’s precisely why we’re taking this health challenge onĀ as a community. And on top of that, we’re all individually paired up for total support! Anyone that is nervous about committing to these changes, just know that you are not alone.
